This week went pretty fast with me staying back to work late again.. With a KPI dateline loomin, no choice also must die die finish the work up.. but can say, it gets a little boring at times when u keep staring at the computer like for so many hrs a day & u just see words & numbers.. haha.. but that's life la..

Went to the comp fair at suntec today.. like all the other fairs, there are like thousands of ppl thronging the 3 floors of IT products.. Sometimes i really wonder where did these ppl get their $$ from? there's always so many ppl queueing at Singnet & Starhub, it's like so many ppl keep signing up for more hps, broadband access etc.. & the ppl testing out the diff cams & IT stuff.. wish i can just be like 1 of them.. hee..

Was with Grace at the comp fair as she wanted to get her ipod nano, which she did (she's absolutedly thrilled with her 1GB white nano).. Didn't know that Apple came up with the 1GB version as this was the 1st time i saw it.. but for the same price, i would have gotten the 2GB instead as the price difference wasn't great & it had better freebies.. hee.. so whoever's reading it, u know what to get for me, ya? I wish that i can've a Black coloured 2GB Ipod Nano.. no need for the frills, i can settle that myself.. hee.. thanks!! haha...

Also gotten a call from the Serangoon Broadway, asking me to collect my graduation gown & to see if i was interested to take some studio shots as well.. actually been thinking.. wonder if i should attend the ceremony or not.. well... let's see about it.. still got a month to go...

Offsite Training

After being missin in my blog for some time, decided to update it..

Was out the whole day today as i had an offsite training with the company. The 1st part of the day was spent with my boss telling us how we fared last year in the gallup (it's a form of appraisel) & stuff.. & how we should stick to the bank's stragetic intent.. i.e. to the the leading international bank & also to lead in Asia, Africa & the Middle East.. looks like it's gonna be lots of streamlining in the process..

As for the 2nd part of the day, we had an external trainer down to coach us on Enneagram.. it's some personality profiling model to allow us to learn ourselves & to learn to be our best.. basically there are 9 different types of human personality types, namely: The Reformer, The Helper, The Achiever, The Investigator, The Loyalist, The Enthusiast, The Challenger & The Peacemaker.. There's no good or bad personalities as all of them possess good & bad perspectives, depending on the degree of the trait.. sounds pretty messy but it's how we are fused in a sense.. hehe... well, for info to u, i'm a no. 2.. dat's The Helper.. hehe... ok, there's too much for me to type it in, so i'll just add in the impt points..

The Helper's values & Motivations are:
- To be liked, loved & valued
- To express their positve feelings for others
- To be needed & appreciated
- To be kind & helpful

Basic Desire:
- To be Loved & Admired for their Goodness & Self-sacrifice
- To be Needed & Appreciated
- To be Rewarded for their Good Intentions

Most imptly, hee...

How to get along with The Helper:
-Tell them that u appreciate them. Be specific
- Share fun times with them
- Take an interest in their problems, although they'll probably try to focus on urs instead
- Let them know that they are important to u & special to u
- Be gentle if u decide to critize them

There are lots more info for the different types of personalities, but it's too much for me to type all of it, so guess this is more relevant for me.. haha...
