Trip to Batam..

my 1st trip to batam on sat.. & never expect the amt i spent there.. scary.. it was even more than wat i spent in my whole trip to Bangkok!!

left early on sat morning.. almost couldn't wake up, but forced myself to Harbour Front with ferry leaving at 9.. the trip to Batam was short, but the waiting time was atrocious.. cuz there were so many S'poreans visiting dat day, all the buses were full.. so we had to wait for everyone to gather before we can set off..

1st stop was go-karting.. the v expensive hobby in S'pore was much cheaper here.. neva bear to play it in S'pore but since opportunity came, decided to take it up.. the lane conditions and kart was lousy, but was still quite fun racing down the lanes.. however, i still prefer cars!! haha.. the seafood lunch was below par (must consider wat i had the nite before.. think my cholestrol level has sky-rocketed), but the highlight of the day was the stop at the polo shop.. yup, polo ralph shop in Batam.. Cuz there's a official factory there, the products there are much cheaper than S'pore.. so ended up raiding lots of stuff there.. the damage was bad.. v v bad.. but quite happy wif wat i got.. 3 shirts, 2 polos & 1 vest..

other than dat, i really dun see much happening stuff in Batam.. but nevertheless, it was a good trip away from S'pore.. though wish i had a longer break..
